Filmmaking in SLAB

It’s been a remarkable experience opening the doors of my research and lab to the Hoover Institution, Stanford University film crew for the upcoming documentary on space safety and sustainability. Translating decades of work on spacecraft autonomy, multisatellite mission operations into visual storytelling is no small feat!

I want to express my deep gratitude to the researchers of the Space Rendezvous Laboratory and especially the filmmakers who spent long hours planning shots, adjusting lighting around flight simulators, and patiently capturing every detail with professionalism, creativity and passion. Their commitment shows that the message of building a safer orbital future reaches far beyond the technical community.
