We have a cool logo for the Center for Aerospace Autonomy Research (CAESAR) at Stanford! It combines the key features of the center: 1) the Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI / ML) component; 2) the Spacecraft Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) component; 3) the Space application and technology demonstration component; and of course 4) the Roman laurel. Thanks to the team and especially Samuel Low for the realization. We are preparing for the official launch event of CAESAR in collaboration with industry, academia and government on May 22nd. It will feature research presentations, keynote addresses, a panel session, and a poster session from students and researchers, with ample room for networking and discussions. Keynote addresses include BlueOrigin, Redwire, Lockheed Martin, Aerospace Corporation, and JPL. Keynote speakers from academia include faculty members of Stanford AeroAstro and Mechanical Engineering. Representatives from the government include USSF, AFRL, AFOSR, and NASA, among others.
