Prof. D'Amico is selected to join the UNCOPUOS Expert Group on Space Situational Awareness

I have been selected to join the UN Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (UNCOPUOS) Expert Group on Space Situational Awareness!

The United States views the participation of and input from private sector actors in these discussions as essential for any outcome to be practical, implementable, and effective. The DepartmentOfState, in coordination with relevant Departments and Agencies, is therefore seeking to convene interested and relevant non-governmental stakeholders to provide input on SSA discussions within UNCOPUOS.

Given my triple roles at Hoover Institution, Stanford University, and EraDrive, I am thrilled to provide my perspective on space safety, security and sustainability from the lens of entrepreneurship, policy, as well as academia.
