Space Safety and Sustainability Study Part II Published
Our Space Safety and Sustainability study is now complete and Part II of the official report by the Hoover Institution, Stanford University just got published:
It provides actionable recommendations to U.S. lawmakers for improving space safety, security, and sustainability, specifically on space domain awareness and space traffic coordination. Recommendations are grouped in three key pillars: domestic policy, space technology, and international leadership.
The recommendations are the result of one year of research, broad and in-depth surveying, individual interviews with key stakeholders across industry, academia, and government, an intensive workshop at the Hoover office in Washington, D.C. and are largely consistent with discussions at the Department of tate to help shape space traffic coordination at a global level (UN COPUOS).
