Mason Murray-Cooper

Mason Murray-Cooper is a Ph.D. student in the Space Rendezvous Laboratory. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Georgia Tech. Mason previously completed internships with MIT Lincoln Lab and the Aerospace Corporation and he is currently a NASA Space Technology (NSTGRO) Fellow. He is developing GNC software for the VIrtual Super-resolution  Optics with Reconfigurable Swarms (VISORS) mission and his research focuses on creating computationally efficient collision avoidance maneuvers to rapidly ensure the safety of distributed space systems in the face of unexpected events.
