SLAB is extremely proud to announce that our student, PhD Candidate Walter Joshua Manuel, has been selected for the 2023 AIAA San Francisco Section - Student of the Year Award. Walter has been proactively leading many AIAA activities both in and out of Stanford. His research focuses on trajectory design, optimal control algorithms, and astrodynamics modeling in the context of the three-body problem. Walter is also a recipient of an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship. Congratulations Walter!
