News: SLAB Wins US Space Force STTR Proposals

Stanford’s Space Rendezvous Laboratory is now an academic partner of several space startups in 3 winning US Space Force Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) proposals for the SpaceWERX Orbital Prime. Industry partners are SCOUT, Scientific Systems, Ten One Aerospace and Orbit Fab.

These upcoming contracts are intended to advance technologies in on-orbit servicing, space domain awareness, and space logistics. Winning these STTRs will allow the Stanford’s Space Rendezvous Laboratory to transfer advanced multi-agent guidance, navigation, characterization, and control algorithms to Industry and ultimately to space.

We are honored of the trust given to us by our partners and by the United States Space Force and we are thrilled to play a crucial role in the sustainable development of space.
