News: Space Day at Hoover Institution

Senior Leaders In Government, Industry, And Academia Convene For Discussions On Space Innovation And Commercial Integration.

Last week, I had the honor to contribute to Space Day at The Hoover Institution, Stanford University. The first such event dedicated to Space at Stanford as a natural continuation of the Stanford Emerging Technology Review (SETR). I moderated a panel on space technology advancements. The goals of the panel were twofold: 1) highlight the most recent innovations in space technology; 2) introduce the key challenges posed by these innovations through the lens of academia, industry, and government. It does not happen every day to sit around the same table and interact with esteemed leaders and decision-makers in the field, including the former and current Generals of the USSpaceForce among many others. A big thank to Hoover for the opportunity, for the coordination, and to the experienced speakers of my panel: Dr. Al Tadros representing Industry, @Hon Frank Calvelli representing Government Acquisition, and Prof. Marco Pavone representing Academia.
